Thermoplastic welding is one of the many services offered by Ajax and is quite often the most cost effective method of fabrication available.  This is especially true with chemical containment systems.  There are no limits on our capabilities for thermoplastic welding; we can weld any thermoplastic polymer materials with our highly experienced welding team. 

The principles involved in welding thermoplastic polymers are similar to the welding of metals.  Both require a heat source and in most cases a weld rod; both use similar weld joints such as fillet welds, butt welds and V-groove welds.   The heat required for welding thermoplastic polymers is less than what is required for metals.
