Process Basics
Plastic sheet
thermoforming is a simple process of applying heat to plastic sheets
until pliable, and then forming them into the desired mold shape by
using vacuum, pressure, gravity, and mechanical aides.
Today, with improved
techniques, variations and technological advancements, the sheet
thermoforming process is capable of providing high quality products
while remaining the low-cost rapid turnover solution for plastic
products. Lightweight thermoformed plastic products are also a viable
substitute for heavier metal products. Parts with sophisticated shapes,
tight tolerances, cosmetic or unique material property requirements
can be manufactured to meet all our customers' needs.
